Hostaform® 共聚甲醛具有耐磨、长期抗疲劳、高韧性、抗蠕变、耐湿、耐溶剂和耐强碱等优异特性
相对于其它许多材料，它的综合特性和易加工性决定了它在材料性能和加工成本上的优势。在很宽的温度范围内，HostaformPOM保持高强度和高刚性。而且它具有低磨耗、高韧性（温度低至－40℃）和抗反复冲击。Hostaform产品有优异的尺寸稳定性、它长期耐蠕变、长期抗疲劳、耐湿、耐化学和耐包括有高甲醛含量的燃油。
Hostaform POM大多数品级符合FDA标准和EU标准（2002/72 EC），Hostaform普通品级已经根据WRAS、KTW和NSF标准成功地进行了饮用水测试。由于它的多功能性，Hostaform产品被广泛地应用在各种领域中。比如齿轮、弹簧、夹子、燃油系统部件的衬垫、玩具元件、洗衣机元件、电动牙刷和胡须刀元件、龙头、安全带卡扣等。Hostaform亦可以用来制备薄板、圆棒和厚板等坯型材，并可通过机加工来制造高精度零件。
